The Conservatoire de Luxembourg is a music school in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. The conservatoire was founded in 1906, and teaches dance, music and drama to approximately 3,800 students. It is housed in a purpose-built building opened in 1984. The grand hall's Westenfelder organ was the first concert hall organ in Luxembourg. The conservatoire also has a museum of early musical instruments, a library and music archive.
Lycée Josy Barthel, abbreviated to LJBM, is a high school in Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg. It was opened in September 2003, and cost €67.4m to build. It comprises 60 classrooms and 16 workshops, and has a capacity of 1,300 students. It is named after Josy Barthel, winner of Luxembourg's only Olympic gold medal-winner and former cabinet member.
The Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center (MUDEC) is an international branch campus of Miami University in Differdange, Luxembourg. Established in 1968, the program is based in Differdange Castle and enrolls around 125 students each semester from Miami and other American universities. The center is named after John E. Dolibois, a native Luxembourger who was a Miami University graduate and administrator as well as the United States Ambassador to Luxembourg from 1981 to 1985.
The University of Luxembourg is a public research university in Esch-sur-Alzette and Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. It was founded in 2003 and is the only public university in Luxembourg.
